Concordia University’s new varsity head volleyball coach Daniel Thomas Fisher has agreed to take an hour away from his rigorous pre-season preparation schedule to enlighten us with some new jams, as I haven’t produced a playlist in months. For that I wholeheartedly blame the AVP, and apologize if you actually like my taste in make-me-want-to-be-young-again-rock-pop-melodies.

A long-time assistant at power programs like Pacific and Hawaii, Fisher has certainly earned his coaching stripes, while apparently picking up a few noteworthy musical inclinations from the latter of those two institutions as well — most notably in the last track of the playlist, “Necta.” Concordia will no doubt flourish from his addition to the team, both in the gym and on the bus behind the headphones…
