Songs I’ve thrown on heavy rotation while working my ass off to keep this sport relevant in its darkest hour…
“If I Rise” by Dido and A.R. Rahman – If you haven’t seen 127 Hours, stop reading and download on iTunes immediately.
“Go Do” by Jonsi – Easily my favorite commercial on TV right now; this song embodies exactly what it means to Explore. Bravo Ford for finding Jonsi and bringing him stateside.
“Blue Eyes” by Mika - I know it’s not summer yet, but this song sure as hell reminds me of what’s to come. It has a sugary sweet Hawaii-vibe about it that I can’t get enough of.
“Marry You” by Bruno Mars - My road to pop kingdom continues…
“Highschool Stalker” by Hello Saferide – Couldn’t tell you why exactly, I just happen to love this song.
“Something Good Can Work” by Two Door Cinema Club – If you don’t have fun listening to this song, pull the plug.
“God Moving Over The Face Of The Waters” by Moby – Slowing things down and getting back to rhythms which carry weight. The ideal song for an Olympic preview video yet to be shot but most certainly to come.
“Dream About Me” by Moby – Not as old as “God Moving…” but definitely not new either. I suppose I’ve just been in a Moby mood for the time being.
“Hand Covers Bruise” by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross – Like 127 Hours, if you haven’t seen the Social Network, leave a comment below so I can block you from ever coming to my website again.
“In Motion” – by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross – I have gotten more done on my computer listening to the Social Network soundtrack than any other compilation of music hands down. The digitized brilliance just breeds productivity.
“In the Hall of the Mountain King” by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross – Who feels like rowing on the River Thames?

QUite a mix of styles Hans, but I’m glad to finally see something new. That previous list was up for like a half year and I get all my music from you! I didn’t know what to do?! And fyi, I love that Ford commercial too. I can’t admit it to my agency friends, but it’s a great ad. Also, Ive seen Social Network! Don’t delete me! Haahah.
Brenda – Yeah, pretty eclectic, huh? The more I look at it the more I realize how it doesn’t necessarily make the best “playlist” per se, but nonetheless I’m sticking with it as they’re all in succession on my iPhone. Glad you saw Social Network btw, it’s not one to be missed.
